RhB: Indication of speed check points ZSI 90

(Switchable) speed check points are announced by special indicators. They show a »V« followd by one or two digits. Meaning: one or two speed check points ahead (speed = digit x 10 km/h).

For example, »V3« announces a check point for 30 km/h whereas »V63« announces two check points, the first on for 60 and the second one for 30 km/h.

Transit and telephone call signals

Transit signals are provided at stations that are temporary unmanned to show the current state. They are also used to call the train staff to the signal phone. For this purpose also specialised »telephon call signals« exist (without transit function).

Transit signals consist of a signal lamp and are marked with a black board with a white letter »T« on it.

Transit signals are not mentioned any more in the new rule book (only the pure telephone call signal). I don't know if they were really abolished by all railway companies.
